Mass communication studies the uses and effects of the media by many. Stanley Baran defines Mass Communication as the process of creating shared meaning between the mass media and their audiences. Any message to be regarded as being mass communicated; it must be disseminated through a mass medium like Radio, Television, Newspaper and Magazine.
