Description

Family rituals may be defined as behaviours or activities involving most or all members of the family which occur episodically, have a symbolic meaning for family members and are valued by the participants. Such behaviours are like family routines, family celebrations and traditions. Family rituals have multiple functions in the family one of which is promoting family health and well-being.
