Civil disobedience is the deliberate, professed refusal of the person to comply with certain rules, requests, instructions or orders of the government. By some interpretations, civil disobedience must be non-violent in order to be called civil disobedience. Civil disobedience is often often referred to as peaceful demonstrations or non-violent resistance.
